Frequently Asked Questions
Is this an official KDUL app?
No. BetterKdul is an independent, community-run project. It is not run by KDUL, not endorsed by KDUL, and not connected to them or to Comortais in any way. Fixtures and results are read from what the league publishes publicly; everything else is submitted by the people who were at the game.
How does a result become "Confirmed"?
The first report goes up on the site straight away, marked "Unconfirmed" — one person's account of the match, scorers and all. Once a second person reports the same match, the weighted trust system takes over: the more accurate someone has been in the past, the more their report counts. Enough weighted agreement makes it "Confirmed"; reports that clash leave the leading score up, marked "Disputed", until it settles. Either way the result becomes permanently "Settled" 24 hours after kick-off.
Why can't I find my name when signing up?
If you're not already on the squad list, just type your name in full — it gets added automatically. It'll count at a slightly reduced weight until someone else independently confirms it's really you, which is a simple anti-abuse measure.
Does my Man of the Match pick affect anyone's trust score?
No — MOTM is shown purely as a fan-vote opinion and never affects trust, unlike the score, scorers, or cards, which are treated as facts.
I spotted something wrong — what do I do?
Use the "Report an issue" button on the relevant match page. You don't need an account to use it, and it goes straight to an admin review queue.
How do I delete my account?
From the Account tab, at any time — it's immediate and permanent. Your personal details are removed; match reports you contributed stay part of the shared community record, reassigned to an anonymous "Deleted User".
Is BetterKdul free?
Yes — completely free, forever. No paid tier, no sponsors, no adverts, no catches. It is a community project, not a business.
